A donation app for iOS, Android & the web

Give what your community actually needs, right now.

Shelters and help centers post specific needs, like 40 pairs of socks by Tuesday evening, and neighbors pledge exactly what they can bring. Built with React Native and Supabase.

The phone is interactive: pledge to a need, then check yourself in on the organization tab.

map
Live needs near you

The Give tab shows real, time-boxed needs on a map and in a list sorted by urgency, filtered by a travel distance you pick (1–50 miles). Expand the map to full screen and recenter on yourself anytime.

handshake
Pledges that add up

Donors pledge part of a need, and the database won't let pledges exceed what's still needed. Drop-off reminders keep pledges on track, and stale ones expire automatically every hour.

QR code check-in

Each pledge has a check-in code. Staff scan it at drop-off (even with a phone's regular camera) to mark it received, and only received donations count toward badges and stats.

domain
Tools for organizations

Shelters register for admin approval, invite staff with codes, post needs from drafts, set needs to repeat on any schedule, and follow progress on a dashboard and public organization page.

emoji_events
Giving worth celebrating

Six milestone badges, a leaderboard you can opt out of, a community heat map, and a "year in giving" recap make impact visible without making it pushy.

share
Share & follow

Share any need with a link that opens a public page for friends without the app, and follow organizations to keep their needs at the top of your list.

From intention to action in four steps.

1
A need is posted

An approved organization posts something specific, like "40 pairs of new socks, drop off Tue 4–7pm."

2
Neighbors pledge

Donors nearby pledge part of it. Pledges can never exceed what's still needed.

3
Drop it off

The donor brings the items during the drop-off window and shows their check-in code.

4
Impact is counted

Staff mark the pledge received, and it counts toward the donor's badges, the leaderboard and community stats.

Try the real thing.

The preview above uses sample data. The real app runs in your browser with the same account and data as the phone version. Sample organizations are fictional, so feel free to explore.

The app is heading toward a pilot with a real shelter. The code is fully open source: check it out, fork it, or reach out to collaborate, especially if you work with a shelter or help center.
